“This is a terrific business. We have used them for several car mishap repairs, and have always been pleased with both price and workmanship, but this topped the cake. I had hit the driver side mirror on my new Lexus rx350. Took it to San Diego Lexus. They barely looked at it and tried to rush me into a loaner and leaving the car. Estimate was north of 1K to fix. Instead. We took the car to Car Coat. They took a few screws out, popped it back in place and it was done in 5 minutes. No charge. Amazing!!”

“Bob and his team did a stellar job painting my refurbished vintage trailer that is being used for business purposes. I made the mistake of having an independent guy paint it the first time around and he did a horrible job. “We brought my wifes Mustang here about a year ago. I still can't believe how terrific the job they did was. For just over a thousand bucks...they fixed two dents, repainted, and it looks brand new.
We went to so many places looking for a shop that would do it for around a thousand. Nobody could. Not even close.
They also did it in such a timely manner.

At first, I was worried the woman working the desk would be mean. She had that look. She was all business, and was terrific at looking at the dents, and really trying to figure out if they could do this for us.

“Someone did a hit and run on my parked car. It's not worth it to go through through insurance and have my rates go up and it would put a ding on carfax. Especially since it's not too bad and my deductible costs more. I'm better off paying out of pocket unfortunately. Kara helped me. She hit the bumper back into place and gave me an estimate for the paint. I'm going to have to come back to get the work completed but at least I know my bumper isn't gonna fall off on me while I'm driving to AZ tonight. I was also in and out. Wasnt there long at all. “There's nothing a woman hates more than going to a mechanic or auto body repair place. I had two dents on the side of my Mustang, and was dreading the whole experience of getting it repaired. I told my boyfriend that when it first happened, I was quoted something around $5,000. So, I waited months and months, figuring I'd never worry about getting it repaired.

We went to a number of auto body repair shops, telling them we wanted it fixed for below $1,500, even if it wasn't fixed perfect. Some of them gave us quotes of a few thousand dollars, telling us that was the lowest they could go. The cheapest place was near Car Coat, but we weren't show how much we trusted them. When I talked to a mechanic friend that worked nearby, he said they bring all their cars to Car Coat and they're always happy with the work they do. We figured we'd get a quote, and...they were just a tad cheaper. So we went with Car Coat.

The woman working the desk was great. She was friendly, came out and looked at the car, asked a few pertinent questions, and gave us a quote. We expressed concern for having the car fixed in 3 days, and she crunched some numbers, and said she could.

We brought it in...expecting it to take a lot longer, and expecting them to say there would be more charges they didn't anticipate.
Nope.
It was finished early in the day. The price stayed the same. We talked to the owner, who was also friendly, but more important -- the dang thing looked brand new!!! We were expecting to see some discoloration on the paint, as we didn't want the whole panel removed and repaired like brand new.

I swear, the experience we had went so smoothly...it almost makes me look forward to my next car accident!

“When my car was hit by somebody in a parking lot, I was very nervous about getting my car's body repaired. I had never had such work done before and I didn't want to get taken advantage.

I am so glad I took my friend's advice and went to this place. Bob, the owner, was super nice and answered all of my questions. I brought my car in on December 7th, and it was ready two days later! The dings were completely repaired, and the paint job was perfectly blended. I'm kind of thinking of going in for something more elaborate. Maybe a complete paint job or something.”

“the guys at Car Coat did an amazing job on my Honda Prelude. I had a few songs and debts here and there, including some that were the size of my palm. And now it looks like they were never there. I went with the 2 stage paint, base coat and clear coat. It looks better than when I bought the car 6+ years ago! Orange peel effect is very minimal, if none at all. The only thing else they could have done was color sand, which is wet sanding the clear coat. This would have costed much more but I didn't expect them to do it.

I highly recommend these guys. I love about 30 minute drive from Escondido. Although my car took almost 2 weeks to finish, I'm very happy with the results. I'll be recommending everyone to this place.”

“My 87 300ZX has been off the road since a 2007 collision. It spent a long time at a local body shop that is no longer in business, and the work wasn't finished. And what was done was not done right. So between the body damage not being done it also sat out in the southern cal sun for over 6 years. I took it to a couple of shops to fix and finish but way to much money. The folks over at Fast Service Center sent me to Bob at Car Coat. The price was right and the finished product was more then I imagined.”

I had lived in MA for 50 years, my car had seen many winters before moving to California. I had dents, a pushed in bumper, rusts spots and a cracked windshield. I couldn't afford a new car so, I decided to get the exterior painted. I drove to several auto body shops and after receiving quotes as high as $10,000.00, I broke down and cried. “Within a couple weeks of each other, my daughter got rear ended in her Mini Cooper, as well as, I damaged the front end of our BMW 550. I am always skeptical about anyone in the car related industry thinking I am always going to be ripped off. A friend referred me to Car Coat and I had the best experience! I had already gotten 3 quotes for the mini cooper so I had checked around. Not only was Car Coat the best quote but I also felt the most comfortable there. After discussing the damage with the owner, Bob Castaing, I felt like he did have my best interest at heart and he was trustworthy. He also replaced the front bumper of my BMW and all the damage to the paint around it that I had caused.
